The jeep is a 1947 Willys CJ2A equipped for fire service by Howe Fire Apparatus. It was purchased new by the Wheeling Steel Corp. in Stubenville, Ohio in 1949 for the price of $2,900.00. I purchased it in 2005 after it had been modified for a Brush Truck only. Over the past year, I converted it back to what the original Willys fire truck should look like with some of your parts and a few additions of my own.

Hi Russell
Finally got my Willys CJ2A Jeep on the road! All systems are working well and the performance is a pleasant surprise I can keep up with the traffic.  This note is to extend a big thank you for all the help; It would have been impossible without guys like you.  Enclosed are a few pics - still a good ways to go to get this Jeep looking original.

Regards,

Hi
I live in Maui Hawaii. I've had my 79 CJ5 jeep for 18 wonderful years. It only has 66,000 original miles. It's hard to find jeep parts living in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for Mr. Jeep, so I'm very happy to have found Vintage Jeep parts to keep him in top shape!
