Based on the "Quad" prototype built by Willys-Overland Motors. First Jeep vehicle to be mass-produced. First to wear stamped grille, evolving into the seven-slot grille that represents Jeep today. It's been described as America's greatest contribution to modern warfare. Influenced every 4x4 that followed in it's tracks. 640,000 vehicles were produced during it's 5 year run.
