This is the ratchet assembly that is used with the cane handle from all 1945-53 and CJ3B models up to 1961. The assembly has the tube welded in the bracket and the spring that will ratchet on the handle. On CJ models it is bolted on the brace up under the dash and on the other models it is bolted to the emergency brake bracket on the left side of the vehicle.

Words can not express my thanks to Russell, Our relationship started in 2006 unbeknown to me or Russell as the story tells.
