JEEP CRASH WAGON

Specialized fire fighting methods and equipment have become an integral part of modern communications and industrial life. Many fires resist or are spread, by the use of conventional water spray. Willys distributors are ready to meet this need with an especially adapted Jeep that fights fire without water.

THE JEEP CRASH WAGON is the versatile four-wheel drive vehicle equipped for fighting all types of fires in difficult, hard-to-reach locations where a ready water supply is not always available or required. Entirely self-sufficient, the 'Jeep' Crash Wagon requires no water supply. It fights fire with chemicals which smoother flames quickly. It carries enough equipment to produce over 850 cubic feet of foam and 90 pounds of CO2 (carbon dioxide gas)--two of the most effective fire-smothering agents known. CO2 is recommended for electrical fires and foam for oil and gasoline fires. The equipment can be operated by inexperienced personnel and highly-trained firefighting crews are unnecessary.

Because of its great maneuverability and selective two and four-wheel-drive, the Crash Wagon can travel at fast speeds to reach places where ordinary fire-fighting equipment cannot go. Powered by the highly-efficient Hurricane Engine, the 'Jeep' Crash Wagon provides low-cost fire protection.

Forty-Gallon Foam-Type Extinguisher, equipped with 50 ft. of 1 -1/4 in. hose and playpipe.  2 1/2 gallon Foam Hand Extinguisher equipped with 2 ft. of hose and nozzle. 75-Pound CO2 extinguisher equipped with 25 ft. of 1/2 in. hose and nozzle. 15-Pound CO2 extinguisher, Hand Type, equipped with 2 it. of hose and nozzle. Flasher Siren, Front Passenger Seat, Radiator Brush Guard, Draw Bar, Starting Crank, Rear Heavy Duty Springs.
