Russell,
It's been a constant project over
the past 12 years that
I have owned it. I
have bigger plans
for its future. Thank you Vintage Jeeps
for your support.

Hi Russell &
Brad!
Thank you for all your help and patience in helping me with my
Jeep. I don't know where I would be if it were not for your
help. I also found that Mallox works and tastes better taken
with a Beer chaser and topped off with those Cream Savers you
send with your orders. Thank
you all again. I'm sure I'll be talking with you again. There
might be a 1955 CJ5 in the future. Carl

I am so
grateful that I found you and your company. Our Jeep's story
is about three generations of our family, that are
involved in this '46 CJ 2A. About 1991, my father,
Sterling C. Hoover, bought this jeep. As a young man he
owned a few Willys, while stationed with the US Army in post
W.W.II Germany. He bought it so that he could bring it to a
deer lease we had at the time. From 1991 to until he passed
away in 2000, my father would bring this jeep to our lease
to the enjoyment of everyone that either knew or met him.
Young and old alike. He taught my three children as well as
many of their friends how to drive the old jeep. He also
spent years fixing the old jeep himself. He would
justify spending money on it by telling my mother that he
was going to leave it to my oldest son when he passed. When
my son was six years old he told him that when he was no
longer with us, that this jeep would become his.
A
few years ago, I made the decision to do a complete and
total off frame restoration of this jeep, so that my son
would be able to enjoy it with his children and
grandchildren. He's now 19 and a student in college. After
searching on the Internet, I found you and your company. I
was pleased to find that you are in Beasley, TX. Our family
is in Houston and I knew that I wanted to meet whomever I
was going to entrust our jeep too. After meeting you and
explaining what I wanted to accomplish, I made the decision
to have you and your family do the complete restoration. I
knew that from the very beginning that you understood, this
was a very special jeep to everyone who ever knew it or the
people involved with it. The level of the attention to
detail that you put into this jeep is phenomenal. I can
honestly say that I've never met anyone who knows the old
flat fenders as well as you. After all the work you put into
it, this old jeep looks better than the day it rolled off
the assembly line in Toledo, OH. Everything that could be
rebuilt was and anything that needed to be replaced, we used
NOS first, then replica after-market. This could have only
been accomplished by someone with your knowledge and
resources.
I picked
up our jeep on 12/24/04 and brought it home. My family could
not believe the results of your work. We all agree that my
father and our grandpa would have been so proud of the way
this jeep turned out. It's perfect. Right down to the
original color. We have been driving it around, showing it
off to friends who knew my father and the reaction is always
the same; complete amazement. Russell, our family cannot
begin to thank you enough for the work you and your family
put into our jeep. After all, it's not just about some old
jeep, but about the joy it will continue to bring our family
now and in the future. After talking with you over the last
couple of years and asking how your business is doing, it is
no surprise to me that your business has grown to such a
success. I've always believed that when you find someone who
is as honest, fair and good as you are in your business
dealings, you should spread the word. I will continue to
tell anyone I ever meet, that if they have a flat
fender project, before they start, get in touch with
Russell Anderson first.
