I bought my Willys all restored. It still needs a little love and care such as A spare tire rack and the rim. I am now looking for the linkage for the new over drive unit as well as the oil filter reservoir for the motor. I am also looking for a shifting knob for the transmission shifter.

This Willys has been completely over hauled from a new radiator to the complete running gears. All the suspension is new. It has 750 16" bias tires and can really go off road any where. Nothing seems to stop her.

It has an original 4 cyl. motor and runs great. She's slow but so very reliable.

I recently moved to Delaware... and am in the process of joining a jeep club there.. since y'all were so helpful to me as I restored a few Willys in Texas I proudly have been spreading the word of vintage jeep... insisting that they order y'alls catalog and parts for their jeeps.. they
are a large bunch that now have your web page address.. so I hope they use it.

Thanks again

Fully restored very early production 1942 Ford GPW.  She runs like a champ and still climbs like a goat.

I have owned this Jeep since new. It has been in the hills behind Santa Barbara, the Tetons, Rock Mountain National Park, and back to the Santa Monica Mountains. I have been stuck in snow drifts in Big Bear, and on the Beach unloading Seadoos ...I have had years of good times with this Jeep.

I bought this jeep [un-driven and un-started] approx. a year ago....it had a 350 SB and an
automatic tranny, but I don't think anyone had driven it lately.  We started the motor, it ran
but not well....so we junked it and started over.

1.  Motor 1962 Chevy 283 V8  complete rather stock rebuild [.030" bore, .010" bearings]
1966 Power pack heads, Holley 4412  - 2 bar, Electronic ignition, Lakewood scatter-
shield, manual clutch [dumped the hydraulic act.]
2.  Mild clearance lift [springs 2.5"] and approx. 1" additional in shackles to clear the Toyo
open country 33x12.50 tires on alloy 15x10 wheels
3.  Rear diff is a no slip Dana 20 with solid axles; front is stock Dana 30; tranny is jeep 3 spd
and Dana model 20 transfer case.
4.  Dashboard replaced with a custom made alum. with hinged panels for full gage access
[no more laying on the floor to access behind the dash - too damn old for that]
5.  Finish paint not decided on but probably a pearl white after all else is done.

Expect to be substantially complete and roadworthy in 4 weeks.
This is one jeep proud to wear the bowtie just in case there is some doubt as to the
         power plant lurking within.
