The jeep
is a 1947 CJ2A equipped for fire service by Howe Fire
Apparatus. It was purchased new by the Wheeling Steel Corp.
in Stubenville, Ohio in 1949 for the price of $2,900.00. I
purchased it in 2005 after it had been modified for a Brush
Truck only. Over the past year, I converted it back to what
the original truck should look like with some
of your parts and a
few additions of my own.
Thanks,
Bill Waller

Attached are a
few pictures of my 1947 CJ 2A. For a couple of years you
have been sending me parts and now I am enjoying driving
them. Without Vintage Jeep and your staffs help this would
have been a lot harder than it was. So, I want to say Thank
You to you and your staff for putting up with me and all my
calls..
Once again
thanks

I bought this jeep from my uncle
Henry. He has let me help him out on all of his projects
since I was little. He told me I wouldn't have it running
this year, these photos are taken in May of 2006, I've been
working on it less than two months. Thanks to you at Vintage
jeep parts, I'm going to prove him wrong.
